All returns are subject to a 20% re-stocking charge. Returns after 30 days from date of invoice can be returned for store credit only.

Extra time allowancy...Just give us a call if you need more time for your core return.
If cores are not returned after 30 days, you will be billed.

Freight
All heads purchased are sold plus freight. F.O.B. Clearwater, FL. CCH will provide ARS label for the return of your core.
A prepaid return-shipping label is included with your order to return your core at no cost. We accept your core whether it’s cracked, disassembled, etc. All we require is that it is complete.

Warranty
PROOF OF PURCHASE - Proof of Purchase is required for any repairs to be covered by this Warranty. The owner of the cylinder head must present the original purchase invoice. The repaired of replaced parts shall be covered by this Warranty for the remaining period of the Warranty.

INSTALLATION - Our Warranty only applies if the cylinder head is identical to the original cylinder head, which it replaces, and if a qualified mechanic representing the standards and installation procedure shown by approved manuals carefully installs it.

USE - Our Warranty only covers normal use. Damages to the cylinder head attributable to improper installation, misuse, improper use, alterations, modifications or accident will cause the Warranty to be null and void.

HEAT LEVEL INDICATOR - A "Heat Level Indicator" is installed on each of our cylinder heads. Should the center part of such indicator melt or be modified following engine overheating, or should it be removed, this Warranty shall become null and void.

PRIOR NOTICE - In case of any defect, please contact us immediately at the number indicated on this website in order to recieve the proper instructions PRIOR TO REMOVING THE CYLINDER HEAD. Any repairs done without our prior authorization shall cause this Warranty to be null and void. All claims must be submitted within THIRTY (30) DAYS of the cylinder head failure.

TRANSPORTATION - Following obtaining a "Return Authorization Number", the defective cylinder head and the gaskets shall be forwarded to us with the UPS ARS shipping label provided with the invoice.

EXCLUSIONS - Except to the extent of Prohibited by Applicable Laws, no other warranties whether expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, shall apply to the purchased cylinder head. Under no circumstances shall Clearwater Cylinder Head, Inc. be liable for consequential damages sustained, including towing, vehicle rental, hotel accommodations, meals, lost time, damages caused to engine parts other than the cylinder head, etc.

PRIDE BREEDS QUALITY
Our pride is your best insurance in receiving the quality you expect. All work is done on our premises and starts with a complete tear-down and thorough inspection of every head entering our shop. After a complete evaluation of all components, its on to our State-of-the-Art 3-Step thermal cleaning system and magnafluxing, followed by our unique submersible pressure testing tank which checks for final hidden cracks and imperfections. At this point, the head enters the second stage of our high tech machine shop where ASE certified machinists and technicians handle the precision stages of restoration to ensure you of superior workmanship and quality every time. CBN resufacing is performed to eliminate the possibility of head warpage. Valve seats are triple angle high performance cut. Each valve is machine dressed at the stem and face, conforming with OEM specs. All springs are tension tested, and worn rocker studs are replaced when necessary. In addition new freeze plugs, pollution plugs, valve keepers and valve seals are installed. The cylinder head is then vacuum tested to ensure proper seating of all valves. Specifications and technical updates are readily available with our AREA data program. This information is utilized during the remanufacturing process to ensure accuracy at all times. Only after a final inspection are heads stamped with our CCH insignia, packed and shelf stored in our climate controlled inventory area.
